'Lo again! Wanted to update tonight with opinions about the season premieres of some of the Monday night shows. Scrubs has gone into syndication and since I've never been able to watch it regularly, this is quite simply, heaven. Moved on to the series premiere of The Class. It was okay. The characters were annoying, though. That I only like two of them...it's just meh. How I Met Your Mother came on right after and I was constantly just going, "What the hell is wrong with Hannigan's hair? Is that a wig? That's a wig." Still, excellent start to their second season with the whole "Where in the world is Lily?" mystery. (Also, at the end I saw Hannigan's REAL hair. I liked it. It's a dark auburn with a longer, Buffy-ish cut. Followed up with Two and a Half Men. Yeah, It's funny, but I know I'm only watching it for Jon Cryer (See: Ducky Dale).
Because It was SO good, I'm totally giving Studio 60 a spot here. PERMANENTLY. People, I can't say I've ever had quite the viewing experience I've had with this show tonight. It was exciting and the way they played it, even from the familiar start of the show, was great. It really drew you in, and makes you care. The acting, writing, production values...what can I say, I was surprised and I dug it.
Finishing up with CSI: Miami. Now, I realize a lot of people HATE David Caruso. I respect that...well, cause the guy's kind of a dick. But oh, well. I enjoy all of the CSI's. Tonight they went to Rio. Horatio killed a bad guy with a knife. Kinda in cold blood. But it really made no sense and the B-plot was taken from season 1 of CSI: LV. Hell, I still liked it, though. CSI is the new science fiction, and science fiction is the new drama. And drama is the new comedy.
Well, goodnight folks and I hope that this helps somebody out there. To see how someone's slightly skewed view of television and possibly, an awakening of sorts will open others up to a creative experience. At least, that's one of the things I'm hoping for:) Let me know what you think.

Ps. If you were wondering why I was SO into Hannigan's hair, it's because I'm a stylist. Sorry, I feel like I should have mentioned that somewhere.
PSs. Oh, and I updated my myspace page, as well. Put up the news shows and when they're airing. Check it out!
